The terms 'diploma', 'degree', 'masters', 'doctorate' and so forth are protected terms which must only apply to courses that are registered. Members may not realise that these terms can only be used by registered providers and with accredited courses. Our website lists all the relevant and approved training courses on offer in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.
If you want to check if a provider or course is registered with government authorities go to Training in Australia for Certificate and Diploma levels and to TEQSA for Degrees and Masters courses. In New Zealand see NZQA, in Singapore see SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) which is the registration body of private education institutions and in Hong Kong, the registering body is the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
