GUEST SPEAKER: Amanda Sinclair

Finding an authentic path in a tradition-bound organisation

In this talk I will share my reflections – including failures and learning - from my decades-long career as a business school academic – a male-dominated and tradition-bound environment. Three key phases will be described: first, being in camouflage and thinking I have to conform; second, experimenting and finding power to do things differently; and third, pushing the envelope of innovation by introducing meditation, mindfulness and attention to the senses and body to my teaching and research.
