As part of my role for ATICC and the People's AIDS Action Group, I supervised a group of 52 HIV/AIDS counsellors in South Africa during 1997/1998. Since retraining as an arts therapist, from 2012 onward I have supervised: several MAAT students in placements during their final clinical year; several professionally registered arts therapists working in diverse contexts such as STOP, a forensic unit and in private practice; several medical GPs who during and after the Christchurch earthquakes wanted support and supervision in providing the best psychological care for their patients; in 2019 I was contracted by Petersgate Counselling Centre to step in for their Clinical Manager while he was on leave for a month. I have also supervised several MAAT students undertaking autoethnographic research in which clinical/therapeutic and research practices merge.
