Special expertise
I am a Masters level qualified and ANZACATA registered Art Therapist. I am also an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and have been a social worker for over 20 years. In 2016, I joined Children’s Health Queensland’s Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) as a Social Worker to provide case management and evidence-based therapies to young people with complex mental health concerns. I worked for over 3 years as the Senior Art Therapist at an intensive inpatient and day-program service for adolescents. In my private practice, making space therapies, I provide art therapy and verbal therapy to young people, parents and adults. I provide supervision to students and practitioners, and have training from La Trobe University and Qld Health in the provision of supervision services.
